How to Measure Your Bra Size Correctly

Measure according to the chosen guide

Triumph asks for a firm under-bust measurement and a loose over-bust measurement with elbows down. Wacoal’s b.tempt’d guide gives its own instructions. Keep the method consistent from measuring through size selection.

Bands are labels, not universal tape readings

Triumph’s chart pairs a 73–77 cm under-bust range with EU 75, US/UK 34 and FR 90. Independently rounding 76 cm to a direct inch band and a centimeter band produces incompatible labels.

Read the bust range for that band

Triumph’s EU chart places an 87–89 cm bust at EU 75A. Other fitting methods can recommend different starting sizes. Do not use one bust-minus-under-bust threshold list for all countries.

Check the actual fit

Try on, assess a level band and comfortable cup containment, and check that wire does not sit on tissue. Cup shape matters as well as volume. Sister sizing can compare nearby band sizes when cups already fit, but is not a cure for every fitting issue.
