Nike’s men’s-based unisex chart pairs US men’s 8 with US women’s 9.5. That is a 1.5-size label difference for that chart, not evidence that every manufacturer uses the same difference.

Shared label length is not shared construction

Some unisex products share one last, while separately marketed models can use different widths, uppers or other construction. Do not assume shoes are identical merely because labels convert.

EU labels do not remove fit differences

A shared EU label can still appear on shoes with different widths and shapes. Compare actual manufacturer rows rather than translating gender by a universal formula.

Children’s overlap needs caution

Some youth and adult labels overlap in length. That does not prove identical cushioning, materials, width or durability. Check the chart and product description before replacing an adult product with a youth version.
