US sizing (shoes and clothing)
Canada uses the US shoe and clothing scale for almost everything. French labels on Quebec tags are translations, not different sizes.

Quebec letters
P=XS, M=M, G=L, TG=XL
Canadian retail follows US sizing identically for shoes and clothing. A CA women's 8 is a US women's 8.
Quebec-market tags may list 'P/M/G/TG' (Petit / Moyen / Grand / Très Grand) instead of XS/S/M/L/XL — same sizes, French letters.
Common pitfalls
- P/M/G/TG on Quebec tags is French for XS/M/L/XL, not a smaller scale.
- Canadian winter apparel (Canada Goose, Arc'teryx) tends to run large for layering.
