UNIQLO’s Updated Women’s Body Size Charts: What Changed

2 min read · Updated October 27, 2026

UNIQLO US says women’s body-measurement labels were revised from Fall/Winter 2025. A changed chart does not necessarily mean a changed garment.

What the official US guidance says

UNIQLO’s US measurement FAQ states that women’s body-measurement charts began changing with the Fall/Winter 2025 lineup. The company explains that bare-body measurements on tags may differ even for the same product. This is a specific US FAQ statement, not a claim that every global store changed identically.

Body chart revision is not product resizing

The same FAQ says there are no changes to the finished dimensions of the product due to that revision and no significant sizing changes to previously purchased or similar products from this change. That distinction matters: a new body-chart range is not proof that your usual garment suddenly got larger or smaller.

Use both charts for a new purchase

Check the current product measurements as well as the body chart. Finished dimensions still vary by design, so a familiar letter is not enough when switching from a fitted knit to an oversized woven shirt. Compare a piece you own in a similar cut.

Do not apply a blanket Japan-to-US adjustment

UNIQLO operates regional stores and publishes local information. Its Japanese origin does not establish a universal one-letter size-up rule on every market’s site. Read the regional chart for the product and confirm measurements rather than translating letters by nationality.

Before you order

  1. Confirm which regional UNIQLO store you are using.
  2. Read the current body-measurement FAQ.
  3. Compare finished product dimensions with your existing garment.
  4. Recheck fit when changing cut or fabric.
